Hi there - I'm Vrinda Dube, currently an MBA student at Chicago Booth and heading to BCG in London full-time. Over the summer I worked at EY-Parthenon, and was a fashion entrepreneur in my pre-MBA life.

I've been in your shoes and it feels like just yesterday. In the last 14 months, I've interviewed with BCG, Bain, McKinsey, LEK, EY-Parthenon, Roland Berger, and Strategy&, and landed multiple offers across the US and UK. Consulting was a big pivot for me, and I know the process can be hard. This is why I have spent much of my 2nd year coaching other Boothies in their consulting recruiting journeys. I worked closely with 4 students and provided ad-hoc support to at least 25 more in my role as a Career Advisor. My 4 mentees landed 8 MBB offers between them. I am especially proud of these results because all of this activity happened in a year of major downturn for consulting recruiting.

You can count on me for tailored advice - through behavioural interviews, case prep, or networking tips, I'm excited to be a part of your journey to success.

In my experience, I've found that candidates struggle with two things the most:

1. Creative casing: Most candidates fall into the trap of 'canned frameworks' very easily - but interviewers can only hear the same thing over and over again so many times! By choosing a robotic path, you not only lose the chance to differentiate yourself but you also create blind spots in your own assessment of the case. It's a dangerous path to go down but a mistake that many make.

2. Crafting and delivering stories: Since most candidates dedicate a large part of their time only to casing, behavioural stories often remain half-baked, rambly, or incoherent. Striking the balance between narrative and depth, and between being structured and delivering fluidly is a key area of weakness for many candidates.

Whether you are facing these issues, or simply need help fine-tuning your performance, I will work closely with you to provide relevant, actionable feedback.

Through the mentoring/coaching relationships I've built, I've always been holistically invested in the mentee's progress. Working with an individual from the very beginning, course correcting as needed, and then following through all the way to the finish line is especially rewarding to me.

Look forward to meeting you - and good luck!
